Did you know that Montana has a whole month dedicated to the celebrating Montana's largest ecosystem type? It's true! We do! The 68th Legislature designated the month of June as Rangeland Appreciation Month (MRAM) during the 2023 legislative session. The goal of this dedication is to promote education, awareness, and appreciation for rangelands which encompass 70% of Montana's landscape. To celebrate MRAM, the Rangeland Resources Program developed a media toolkit to help agencies, organizations, and non-profits share facts and highlight the multitude of benefits that rangelands provide Montana.
